About Me
Do you need a math tutor? I can help. My name is Jack Strickland, and I am an experienced, licensed math teacher and tutor with a masters degree in teaching mathematics from Harvard University Extension School. I currently teach math at a local high school, and have been teaching and tutoring math at the elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels since 2007. I can tutor many math subjects including elementary and middle school math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics.
I believe that teaching math is more than just teaching mathematical skills and concepts. It's about helping students overcome their math anxieties and building their confidence in their ability to learn, understand, and use math. I do this through patience, humor, and enthusiasm. With the right approach, every student can be successful at math.

In-Person Tutoring

I live in the city of Framingham, Massachusetts, and am happy to tutor in-person here and in nearby towns (e.g., Natick, Ashland, Southborough). In-person sessions can be conducted in your home or at another location such as the public library.
Availability and Rates
Availability and Rates
I am available for on-line and in-person tutoring sessions Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 am to 9 pm. Beyond that, I am available anytime to answer students' questions via text, email, or virtual chats. Online tutoring is $50 per hour session, and in-person tutoring is $75 per hour session. Payment can be made via secure P2P apps such as Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.
